Crooked Little Lies is about a town's response to a man named Bo vanishing in broad daylight. Bo's step-sister Annie, who works in a local cafe, is worried for his well being since he is not all there and tends to disappear from time to time but this time it feels different. Lauren is the other main character that is going through a rough time especially after nearly losing her life to falling from a church tower and dealing with all the problems that came from that. Lauren was the last person to see Bo alive and it sets the tone for the book with a ending that nobody will see coming.

This book had me captivated from the first page to the very last sentence, with the mystery of where did Bo go and what is really going on with Lauren and her family. I liked the mystery of it all but found it to have some parts missing like where is Tara's baby that was mentioned several times but overall it was a good book by a author that I could see myself reading more of.

Thank You to Barbara Sissel for writing such a great mystery that had you reading way past your bedtime just to find out what is going on!!
