In The Game is the story of how a woman came from a small town to making it in a male dominate work force. As Peggy began her life in a small mid-west town, she wanted to become something more than her mother and escape the life she was living. She soon finds herself as a high-profile trial lawyer and a single mother of four kids. With all this happening in a time where woman lawyers were hard to find, Peggy was able to make something of herself and this is her story of how she got there and what she had to do in order to survive.

This book was so easy to get into and you feel for what she had to go through in order to be something in a career during a time period when women were expected to stay home to take care of the kids. There were times I just wanted to slap some of the people in this book for what they did or try to do to Peggy but I also get that going through that made Peggy, a stronger woman for going through that. The only thing I didn't really like was the highly explained court cases but at the same time, you get the sense of what she went through during those highly publicized cases and it brings a new level to the book.

Thank You to Peggy Garrity for sharing your story of how you became the person you are today!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from BookSparks : The Magic Of Memoir Blog Tour!
