Lies And Other Acts Of Love is the story of two women and the little white lies they told in order to protect their family.  Lynn "Lovey" White has been married for 60 years to a man that is lowly fading from this world and has 5 daughters but is harboring some lies that will tear her family apart. Annabella is her granddaughter who tries to always do the right thing until her fiance cheated on her and she soon marries a musician that she only known for three days.

With Lovey's husband not doing so well, they get sent to live in a assistant living home in which shortly after, Lovey falls and breaks her hip and sets the motion in place for one of her secrets to come out. Annabella thinks she is living a good life until she sees something that will change everything and she discovers that her family isn't as perfect as they seem. With a chain of events unfolding with Lovey and Annabella, they both come to the conclusion that family is everything and love is somewhere you least expected it in a bittersweet ending that nobody will see coming!

This is the second book I have read by Kristy now and she has turned into one of my favorite Southern Authors of my generation! I loved how the story went back and forth between the two women as their story unfolds and that ending isn't something I saw coming but it makes sense of what Lovey is like and what she would do for her family! I can only imagine what is to come in the future but if it's anything like the previous two books, you can bet that I'm gonna be reading it!!

Thank You to Kristy Woodson Harvey for writing this book that shows that sometimes telling a little white lie can be the best thing for your family!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley!
