If You Were Me And Lived In...Colonial America is the story of how America came to be. It's 1620 and two ships leave for a new safe haven to practice their faith and to make a new home we now call America. It shows what kind of problems the pilgrims had coming over here and trying to make a home once here. It gives you a picture of what type of clothes they had to the problems they had getting food those first few years and they joy of getting shipments with items that they desperately needed. If you want to learn more about how America was founded then this is the book for you.

I do believe that this is my favorite book so far in this series just because it shows kids how far we have come as a young nation. I have always been a person who loves learning about early America and the struggles that they went through to survive those first few years and I hope that this book will spark an interest in a young child. I don't know where this series is going next but I can't wait to read more about these fascinating places in the world!

Thank You to Carole P. Roman for including the story of America in this series!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the Author!
