Last Promise is the third and final book in The McBride Brothers series. Luke is the younger brother to Colt and Jake; and as someone that doesn't want to settle with one woman until a certain English woman comes into his life that will make him reconsider everything. Mary Ann is running from a arranged marriage in England to live out in the wild west with her uncle but with a certain handsome cowboy hanging around, nothing is what it seems in the wild west.

While Luke is busy being wild and carefree, a stagecoach shows up in town with a pretty young woman who really doesn't want anything to do with Luke right from the start due to his fight with a local drunk that happened right in front of her. When Luke tries to win her trust, his co-owner's wife shows up at the wrong time saying her husband is gone and kisses Luke like they are an item. Mary Ann being new to the country, doesn't really like all this elude behavior but she does have a certain fascinating with Luke even after seeing how women act around him.

With Luke gone to try and find his friend and the mystery of his wife, everything goes wrong with Mary Ann with her past showing up to take her back to England. As Luke finds out the truth with Mary Ann and wants nothing to do with her after that, a certain longing will take the both of them to England in a race to save Mary Ann from a unhappy future. The road will ultimately lead them back to Promise in an ending that was made for all three couples!

I really loved this series and I so wished it didn't end but I would have liked it to ended a slightly different way, as in having the last two pages set like 10 years down the road just to see what happened to all three couples! I could see this book series becoming a TV series on Hallmark, it would be the perfect fit for the channel and we get to see the story and characters come to life! Now that this series is over with, I can't wait to see what is to come from Scarlett in the near future!!

Thank You to Scarlett Dunn for writing such a fantastic series that I really love and I can't wait to read more books by you!!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley!
