Schism is the story of how a virus that wipes out all the adults and now it's the teenagers running the world. Andy and her two friends who are brother and sister named Charlie and Morgan, are left to fend for themselves in Bermuda after a virus wipes out anyone above the puberty age. Jim and Ben are two friends who are out to put a stop to a very dangerous man who will do anything to control the world.

A vacation to Bermuda will leave Andy, Morgan & Charlie trapped on an island that proves to be too dangerous after an incident with Morgan that sends them to the mainland of America. Once there, they meet up with Jim and Ben who are on the way to New Mexico in which they all go with them. Once there they have to make some hard decisions that will lead them back to New York to face off against a man named Sean who wants to release the virus again to control who lives and doesn't. As secrets come out about who Jim and Ben really are and a mission that goes terribly wrong, it leaves us with a cliffhanger that we can only imagine what is to come for these teenagers.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I hate how it left us with a cliffhanger that was so unexpected that it will make waiting for the next book kinda hard to do!! It was a breath of fresh air to read something that isn't like the other dystopian books that gives you an perceptive of what a world run by teenagers can do. I can't imagine what else can happen to this group but I can bet you that it's gonna be good!

Thank You to Britt Holewinski for writing a fantastic start to this series that will leave you wanting more!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the Author!
