The Heart You Carry Home is the story of Becca and how one roadtrip can change everything. Her father, King is a Vietnam Vet who struggled after returning home from the war and he spent most of time away from Becca. Ben is Becca's husband who just got home from the middle east and he is suffering from PTSD, one night one of Ben's episodes makes Becca run home to King where he is about to embark on a motorcycle trip with his buddy's and Becca is not allowed to come until her aunt makes it so Becca has to go. As they travel to Utah, secrets will be reveled and everything they know to be true will change but as they find out, home is wherever your heart is.

I like books like this that touch on a sensitive subject like PTSD in our Veterans and all the struggles they go through just to make it through the day. I hope everyone reading this will take something from it and maybe just maybe it will raise awareness on PTSD.

Thank You to Jennifer Miller for writing this heartfelt book that I hope everyone will love as much as I do!

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from Goodreads Giveaways!
